Short Bio: Deheng Ye is the Director of AI at Tencent, Shenzhen, China, where he spearheads a dynamic team of engineers and researchers in the development of large-scale machine learning platforms and intelligent AI agents. His leadership has been instrumental in innovating and integrating pioneering AI technologies into real-world applications, with online AI service requests reaching billions per day worldwide. Apart from industry-level projects, he has authored/coauthored over 50 academic papers to date (by 2023). He also servers as the Deputy Director of the Tencent-NTU Joint Research Laboratory (CENTURY). His interests include multimodal agents, large language models, deep reinforcement learning, large-scale machine learning, data science, software engineering, and their commercialization and industrialization practices. Deheng Ye completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2016.
